Professional Ethics
In 2001, the National Association of Parliamentarians and the American Institute of Parliamentarians jointly adopted a code of ethics for the parliamentary profession. This code of ethics serves to promote the integrity of practicing parliamentarians in providing services to others, and to ensure a consistent approach to professional ethics across the parliamentary profession.
