SUMMARY:Registered Parliamentarian Credentialing Exam
DESCRIPTION:The Registered Parliamentarian Credentialing Exam (RPCE) requires candidates to objectively demonstrate core competencies needed to obtain the RP credential as well as to demonstrate the application of the core knowledge and basic business skills needed by every parliamentarian. \nThe RPCE consists of two sections\, a 100-question multiple-choice exam and a performance exam that will require written answers to different scenarios. Both sections are based on the RP Performance Expectations developed by the NAP Commission on Credentialing. The exam will be offered quarterly for week-long intervals. Candidates will select a day within the designated week in which they will take the credentialing exam. Both sections of the RPCE must be completed within a seven-hour window – two three-hour sessions with up to a one-hour break between sessions. This program is our centerpiece event for Parliamentary Law Month. \n  \n  \n  \nThe Event Will Include \nThe History of Robert’s Rules of Order (30 min) — Martyn Robert Redgrave\, President of\nRobert’s Rules Association and direct lineal descendent of General Henry Martyn Robert\, and\nThomas “Burke” Balch\, coordinating author of the RONR\, Newly Revised Authorship Team will\ntrace 150 years of parliamentary history\, from General Henry M. Robert and the 1876 first edition\nthrough the 12th Edition.
