Course Overview

This program is designed to introduce students to the principles of orderly meetings, fair decision-making, and democratic participation using the parliamentary procedures outlined in Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised.
Participants will receive guided instruction to help them understand the key concepts covered on the NAP Membership Exam and gain confidence in applying parliamentary procedure in meetings, student organizations, and civic activities.

• An introduction to parliamentary procedure
• Review of essential concepts from Robert’s Rules of Order
• Practice questions and exam preparation guidance
• Opportunities to ask questions and clarify concepts
The program is designed to prepare participants to take the official NAP Membership Examination.

Registration Fee

Registration for this course is free ($0) as part of NAP’s commitment to encouraging youth participation in parliamentary education.
This means participants may attend the instructional sessions and receive exam preparation support without paying a registration fee.
