RONR (11th ed.) has a Table of Contents plus Preface and Introduction (pp. ix-lii), Chapter I through Chapter XX of text (pp. 1-669), Tinted Pages (t1-t48) and an Index (pp. 671-716). This month’s questions refer to that section we refer to as the Tinted Pages:

  1. Why are the pages called the “Tinted Pages” when they’re not tinted, but white like all the rest of the pages in the book?
  1. When were they added to the editions of RONR?
  1. What are all those arrows about on p. t-4 . . . and why are they even there?
