NAP provides an online directory of Professional Registered Parliamentarians to assist you with questions regarding parliamentary procedure as they arise in your meetings. Consider hiring a parliamentarian to:
- assist at conventions or other important meetings
- consult on bylaws
- instruct about parliamentary procedure
- serve as a professional presiding officer for conventions or other meetings
We also offer several online courses available to both members and non-members that focus on topics ranging from basic parliamentary procedure to Minutes and Construction of a Successful Organization for more advanced students. Our Associations and Units also offer workshops in parliamentary procedures. Click here to find NAP in Your Area.
Please continue to browse the Professional Development section of our website to learn more about online learning. This is also where you will learn how to become a credentialed parliamentarian. NAP offers two levels of credentialing: Registered Parliamentarian® (RP) or Professional Registered Parliamentarian® (PRP). Note that you must first become a member of NAP to pursue the RP; and have been a RP for at least one year prior to registering for the PRP qualifying course.
