Michigan Unit of Registered Parliamentarians – Strong Board, Strong Team: Better Board Behavior

This workshop will focus on the duties of individual board directors, rules of order for boards and how they can reach decisions. The source of their authority and limitations will be reviewed. The presentation also focuses on how to teach a board their duties, their authority and limitations, board structure and function, the role of directors and the rules for conducting business in large or small boards. It will also review fiduciary duties.
