Parliamentary Potluck

This interactive workshop will introduce a dozen or more surprises, stumpers and challenges that may be found in the pages of RONR 12th Edition. Many of the situations presented will become “Oh, wow!” or “Aha” moments for even the most seasoned parliamentarian (such as new terms only introduced in the 12th Edition). Attendees will have the opportunity to share their own knowledge of conventional and off-beat parliamentary topics, and of course learn nuances from others on these topics. So come prepared to both participate and absorb new (often hidden) details from the 12th Edition.

Learning Objectives:

• Strengthen knowledge of parliamentary practices used in parliamentary procedure.
• Improve the ability to apply a variety of RONR standards in regular parliamentary routines.
• Gain new insights into a variety of procedures found in RONR.
