Exploration of parliamentarians’ objectives, terms, conditions and challenges associated with their drafting of letters of engagement, independent contractor memoranda, and other service agreements, to advance their relationships with their clients, while simultaneously protecting their own professional and business interests – a program developed especially to reach intermediate and expert parliamentarians as consultants.

• Define workable parliamentarian-client services agreements.
• Identify legal terms that can be valuable for parliamentarians to include in agreements with clients.
• Evaluate whether the advantages of parliamentarian-client services agreements outweigh the disadvantages of using them.
