Make Plans Now for Parliamentary Law Month

March and April bring parliamentary procedure into focus through two month-long celebrations. In March, Parliamentary Youth Month provides an opportunity to engage young people in the importance of democratic decision-making. The Youth Committee has some fun and engaging activities lined up, including games and social media campaigns, and welcomes you to spread the word to students and organizations within your network.  April is Parliamentary Law Month, a chance for your organization to educate the community on properly running meetings. Reach out to potential new members, invite the public to a meeting and hand out basic information sheets, host a question-and-answer session, or create your own presentation. Thanks for your continued dedication to spreading the word about the importance of the parliamentary process.

Send your Parliamentary Youth and Parliamentary Law Month events to us to be featured on our website calendar. Document your events with pictures to be shared on NAP’s social media. We look forward to receiving your submissions at . You can also utilize the declaration in celebration of April 2024 as Parliamentary Law Month issued by NAP President Alison Wallis.
